At CMSPI, our onboarding process is designed to equip all new hires with the skills, expertise and connections needed to excel in the complex world of global payments.
What does CMSPI's Typical Recruitment Process look like?

1. Apply online

2. Telephone Interview
Expect a 30 minute phone interview with the talent team

3. Online Assessment
You may be asked to complete an online aptitude assessment

4. First Stage Interview
1st stage interview with a hiring manager– typically a video interview where we will get to know you and why you are interested in working with us

5. Final Stage Interview
Final stage interview is held in our office – we may ask you to deliver a presentation or complete a job specific assessment on site. We will normally have someone from the Senior Leadership Team meet with you too and we will give you the chance to go for coffee with your future colleagues.

6. We stay in touch and let you know our decision!
Hit the ground running
Given the constantly shifting payments landscape, training is an essential part of the onboarding process. That’s why every CMSPI employee goes through a role-specific training program that includes an education on the global payments supply chain and how the company leverages the power of data, analytics and technology to produce results for our clients.
Client-facing employees also have the opportunity for intermediate and advanced training sessions and all team members get 24/7 access to CMSPI’s learning management system, where everything they learned during their training period is stored and available for review.
By the time onboarding is complete, every new team member should expect to have the knowledge, expertise and confidence to start contributing to their own team’s and the company’s success.

From day one, we help new hires understand what their role is, who they need to reach out to and who is going to be their core network within CMSPI. That way, they can start contributing right away, and be equipped with the roadmap to do that successfully.

Every person is different and so is their career path.
With a dedicated Education Team, your new starter induction and onboarding will be personalized to you. You will meet the teams that you’ll work closely with, complete induction to the payments industry training courses and have a training plan that is bespoke to you and your role.
Our Education Team supports the learning needs and professional development of all team members – from new starters right through to senior management. We offer a catalogue of internal courses and programmes such as:
- CMSPI’s Commercial Training Programme
- Management Development Community
- Developmental Mentoring Programme
If we don’t offer the course you’re after internally, then it’s likely covered by one of our many external partnerships - which are fully paid by CMSPI and are completed within your working day. Some examples include:
- Future Leaders - which we hosted in partnership with a local university
- Microsoft upskilling (such as SQL, PowerBI and Scala)
- Animation Courses with the School of Motion Design
