JOB ROLE: Director, Customer Marketing and Operations
LOCATION: Based out of our Atlanta office. A hybrid working model expecting employees to come into the office x 2 days a week.
REPORTING TO: VP of Marketing
This is a critical senior marketing role which will oversee the development and execution of our company's marketing strategies. The main goal will be to drive business results by engaging prospective customers and supporting the development of current customers. This role will have a direct impact on the achievement of our company's global sales objectives.
The successful individual in this role must be a confident and experienced business and marketing thought leader with exceptional strategic and interpersonal skills. Possessing a strong ability to collaborate across the organization to drive and shape the organization's growth agenda.
What will you be doing...
- Drive the development of an annual marketing plan for customer marketing. The purpose of which is to establish goals, strategies, and tactics to support achieving key company sales results.
- Lead the process to identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies for Account Based Marketing (Business Development), Existing Customer Cross-Sell/Upsell and oversee the direction and implementation of all Events Marketing.
- Collaborate across the organization with the Business development, Sales, and Insights (Economics) teams in the planning and execution of all customer marketing initiatives.
- Partner with the marketing branding team to develop impactful messaging and content for customer marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the insights team to align on annual goals and objectives and report on key metrics driven by blogs, white papers and other Insights driven communications.
- Own the Townhall Marketing forum objectives, agenda, and implementation.
- Manage the customer marketing and Marketing Tech budget.
- Uphold established brand standards and help to ensure compliance in sales directed marketing initiatives.
- Continue to scale the ABM marketing strategy to consistently cover the Global 500 across the world.
- Develop and institutionalize the tracking and reporting of Brand, ABM, Managed Services, and website metrics into a top-down dashboard.
- Manage a $1mm annual marketing budget.
What we are looking for...
- A proven marketing thought leader, able to galvanize an organization around big market driven ideas and execute with precision.
- Strong overall business acumen with commercial experience encompassing strategy, customer, revenue, costs, and profitability.
- 7-10 years of Professional Marketing Experience with at least 5 years in Customer Marketing.
- Experience in core B2B marketing disciplines that include brand strategy, campaign management, social media, marketing analytics, and account based marketing.
- Experience in financial services is preferred and understanding of the payment processing marketplace is a strong positive, but not essential to fulfilling the role
- Proven personal leadership and communication skills in marketing roles. Exceptional executive presence.
- Highly flexible and adaptable. Ability to work and lead in a fast paced, team oriented and interactive environment.
